The HD Forums name and/or logo may be used in connection to events organised through the website as a point of reference but it is expressly stated by the owners of the site that such events are not sponsored or endorsed by the site.  And the owners of the site take no responsibility for any outcome that may occur on such events. Permission must be requested from the owners of the website for official endorsement or sponsorship of anything that bears the HD Forums Australia name or logo.
Posts made on this forum must not contain:
1)	Graphics depicting pornography or nudity in public areas of the site, this includes signatures and avatars Please be aware that many people like to read this site from work and therefore graphics that would generally break most workplace rules have a negative impact on people's ability to use the site. ** Posts depicting nudity, NOT PORNOGRAPHY, may appear in the "Pure Clownery" section if the post is intended as a humorous one. **
2)	Content that is initiated primarily for commercial interest or advertising, unless it is in the For Sale & Service Directory forums. or unless the offer contains a significant member discount.  Please approve such posts with the Administrators first.
3)	Malicious abuse between members of a personal nature.  THIS INCLUDES RESPONDING TO AN ABUSE POST WITH ABUSE.  In such cases both user's accounts will be suspended from the site. IF ABUSE DOES OCCUR PLEASE DON'T RESPOND TO IT WITH ABUSE AS YOUR RESPONSE ALSO BREAKS THE RULES AND YOU WILL BE DEALT WITH IN THE SAME MANNER.  USE THE "MY MESSAGES" FUNCTION TO PM AN ADMINISTRATOR TO ALERT US AND IT WILL BE DEALT WITH. ** WHERE THREATS OF VIOLENCE ARE MADE THE USER OR USERS MAY BE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM THE SITE WITHOUT WARNING.**
4)	Content publicly questioning another user. No posts will be made questioning another user.  If you have a problem with another user raise it with the administrator or moderators via private message (PM) or the "Contact Us" form at the top of the site.
5)	Racist or sexist remarks Please respect other users of the site when posting in public areas, racist or sexist remarks in these areas will be deleted. ** This rule does not generally apply in the "Pure Clownery" section if the post is intended as a humerus one. **
6)	Posts that deny or disrespect the victims of proven historical events.  A couple of good examples of this: - The Jewish Holocaust - September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks
7)	Accusations of Criminal activity towards any person(s) or groups.
General things to consider when making a post
	Remember that whenever you post something the rest of us can't hear the tone of your voice, see your facial expressions, or watch your hand and arm motions. Lots of times things get misunderstood, so think before you hit the "SUBMIT" button, send the post on its way, and make a complete tool out of yourself. If what you sent gets misconstrued, don't get all bent out of shape, just attempt to straighten the mess out. If the person on the other end is a tool, most of us will work that out quick. Also, if that means you're a tool, we'll work that out, too. Site Moderators have locked topics and deleted comments that prove no value to the wellbeing of this site. Whilst debate and opinions are welcome, posts and threads that lower the standards of this site will continue to be locked or deleted. Administrators may de-register users from the site if those users repeatedly post content of no real value or relevance to the forum. Administrators may de-register users from the site if those users repeatedly "flood" the site. We request that all user's take the time to consider what others may read into your post prior to posting.
