Had a set of S E slip ons fitted to my 09 electra glide when new .Had a problem with the exaust only putting out of one pipe, wired open the equaliser on the right hand side that isnt working .Has any one got the same problem. It would be interesting to find out if its a computer problem, as so far I was told to stick a rivet in it.

Thats what it's meant to do, when I had the Fatbob I put a screw trough it to keep it open.  Now on the '09 bagger I use a TTS for tuning and through the TTS you can set it in the off (open) position and forget it.

Yeah normal ... restrictive emission control crap, it'll only open up when ya give her a fist full.

Heaps of threads on here about them.

Stick a rivet in it to hold it open and get the shop to disable the active exhaust through the computer. Ya may also want to take a look at your active intake, the little flap on the air cleaner can also be removed by cutting it out with a fine hacksaw, very cearfully cut through the pivot on the back side and it will just fall out, be sure not to get the saw dust in your aircleaner.

Even without the HDI flapper valve shit, the touring exhaust system is damn near a 2 into 1 anyways, always was !!

I have tuned a few Baggers, switching off the "Active exhaust" AKA flapper, and self tappered open the flapper valve as well, and still there's more exhaust from one muffler than the other.

That's why dudes in the states change to "TRUE DUALS".

Plenty of info on the US forums about this.

Next time you have her serviced get the flapper disengaged electonically....sticking screws in it will/can fuck it up.....
