I just pulled them off with my fingers then used some of that citrus based "D-solv-it" to clean off the sticky muck.  Came up beutiful, total operation took 15 minutes for all 4 reflectors.

Nope... I didn't say nothing at the time I picked it up as I figured they must have been forgotten to be put on by the guys doing the assembling.

so does that mean that you were sold a un roadworthy bike?   I THINK here in VICTORIA  they are required for the RWC?

Umm, I won't answer that on the grounds it may incriminate someone

By "RWC", I take it you mean road worthy check?  That doesn't happen over here in SA unless you get defected by the police.    Being a new bike registration and roadworthiness is automatic

much better look Greg. I have a black denim bob and the rear reflectors were attached to the guard and not the strut. A little bit of heat, fishing line and then eucalyptus oil to clean any sticky stuff work fine for me.

eucayptus Oil they way to go breaks down glue easy also gumsmells good to

Took mine of some time ago.

1. Hair dryer for about 3 min

2. Fingers to take them off

3. Mr Sheen to clean the residue off

All four reflectors were off in about 15 min ( + 2 X Jim Beam cans)

ALL YOU GUYS HAVE TO DO KNOW IS TO REMOVE THOSE HUGE INDICATORS, REPLACE THEM WITH AN AFTERMARKET ITEM .SO WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE BIKE, INDICATORS DON'T COME INTO YOUR FACE

ILLEGAL----ONLY WHEN ONE GETS CAUGHT.

ILL-EAGLE = a sick bird

Ripped em off with me fingers, wipe with Kero (the forgotton cleaner/solvent) come back in 5 minutes, wipe with clean rag and add polish.

Changed to smoke indicators lenes with yellow bulbs, much more decret when not in use.

Oh yeh, also got the LED tail/brake light, looks very cool. will change me photo when it stops raining and the bike is sort of clean. Or if it keeps raining I might take some dirty shots and post.

And I didn't have to shoot it
