Havent submitted anything for a while now, however at R & R Cycles we have just finished building a Street Engine that is totally rideable and it produces 110 Horsepower with 108 Ft-Lb's of Torque, pretty darn good if you ask me.

If you have read any of our previous postings on this site, or at our website www.randrcycles.com.au, you will know that at R & R Cycles we aim to get Maximum Efficiency out of our Engines without going too wild with Cams etc, we have put together some Kits using some of what we think are the best after market components available, we have spent many hours at the Dyno, Developing and Modifying Parts to get the specific Perfomance out - that our high standard requires.

This particular 97 Cubic Inch Build has used some other bits and peices over and above our Kit 3, and we have taken the time to do some very careful calculations with regards to Flow Rates and Velocities within the Intake and Exhaust Systems, as well as slightly modifying certain components so they will perform at their best, whilst still keeping the Engine reasonably mild, which in turn will extend the life of this Engine.

Obviously our Kit 1 is best Value for money as you will acheive potentially 30% increase in power when fitting up this Kit, if you want to get more out its going to cost however its worth it to have your Harley Perfomance and Efficiencey upgraded.

As required we can also build you an engine that  performs to your specifications, obviously keeping within our strict performance guidelines, so that your engine will perform as necessary for an extended period.

Base cost is the key wording here Trev.  They havnt mentioned how many hours labour and all the other bits and pieces that you are up for.

All that is required is that you take the time to look a bit deeper into what each kit offers, by clicking on the Kit3 for example,  there is a more in depth description stating that you will have all gaskets and fitting kits suplied, and at the bottom of that description you will see all the drop down menus that will give you the final price of your parts purchase, before you add them to your Cart.

The Labour rate is calculated upon the condition of your bike and how many alternative extras you have already fitted that may have to be modified to suit our standard, so that your Engine will perform properly. This will vary widely between each Engine Build, and of course will also depend on if you want carbies and other components modifed as well.

hi iv'e had 126 hp out of a 97ci EVBT back in  1996,   a street riding FXR  axtell3 13/16 " big bore red shift cam  std heads  etc ( mountian  motor ), just thought i would  let the world out there know

We have found that alot of aftermarket pipes look good however they dont do much for performance improvement, in fact they actually take performance out. We use D & D 2 into1's at the moment as we havent found anything else that goes close to the required specifications to create the correct exhaust gas flow, we do not use the standard Baffle with these pipes as it is too restrictive, we have designed and manufactured our own, we can supply you with a set of D & D pipes with our re-calibrated baffle if you wish www.randrcycles.com.au and check out product store, it is noisey!!

Alternatively as long as the standard engine pipes and balance pipe are in place on your Fatbob, you will be getting good efficient gas flow, if you can put up with them id leave them on the bike.

Got it Today I like it - its tough - I did enjoy my ride home, especially down the hume - Different than my Fatboy to ride home, I need to go over a few things, shocks are set on 3 no give whatsoever, so I will go for 2 and see what happens.
I need to check the trye pressure, making sure the back wheel is true, I just felt it wasn't right, maybe it is me and going to take some getting used to.

I know that road and could hammer on my fatty, not today! going through some corners where the Fatboy used to scrap, it didn't - I think I am going to like it when I get it set up the way I want it.
