    My Learned Collegues,

I wish to fit a set of Kuryakyn Ergo Engine Bars to the beast but there appears to be a differnce between the frames prior to 1997 other than the seat height does anyone know the other differences. It would seem most of the after market stuff is for 97 onwards.

    Regards

    Steve.

not sure what the changes were, but they did stiffen up the frame with the introduction of the 88 tin can,and they have seriously strengthened the frame in 2007 for the 96 engine.

    Thanks for the reply Nobody,

They may have changed the bolt hole postioning on the front of the frame, if so, that might be the reason.

    I will keep on investigating.

    Steve.

They changed the mountings from the evolution engines to fit the twin cam engine,so I am sure that there are a lot of mounting holes that are different.

    Nobody, thanks once again.

She looks good with the current engine bars, so I guess I can spend the cash on others parts that will fit.

    Hey Steve

Good thing about a RoadKing is that you can never have too many parts
