    Welcome Bigdave,
Those that don't understand or have not survived the rite of passage that is owning,
riding and wrenching on a Shovelhead will just have to miss out.
I don't have to explain, they wouldn't understand.
    TCB,
    Cris.

This is the pic Big Dave wanted me to help him load. This is the first and only FUEL INJECTED SHOVEL in the world to our knowledge. It is featured in a couple of Yank forums. its had a few different injector positions and the most recent is in the heads themselves. This seems to work best. I'm sure Dave would be pleased to answer any questions you may have as he is rightly proud of the work hes done so far. All the work has been done in his shed out in Dalby. He has built the throttle body and every thing else himself and is in the middle of trying to put a set of twin cam heads on the old girl. Im sure we can post mor pics as we find em.

Gday people, i'm back and back on my medication , i'm glad to see my first post got the reaction i'd hoped for.

I ride a 1984 shovel head superglide , well thats what it was originally, ibought it in 1986 and it is the only harley i've owned. the bike looks like shit but i spend all my money on the mechanicals.

My shovel has gas flowed and ported heads, B grind cam, supertrap two into one pipes .9+1/2 to 1 KB pistons and is fuel injected. The fuel injection ECU is an Autronic unit and all the hardwere i made myself, as far as i know it is the only street registered Autronic controlled EFI shovelhead in the world.

VG'day fatboy by your reference to the southern cross i think you would like the Bushwakers Album - beneath the southern cross.
There isd a song on the album called Beneath the southern cross and one of the lines is quite pertinant to bike riders - this flag of blue and silver stars says where prepared to die for our right to freedom beneath the southern sky the blood of those poor working men who didnt count the cost flows strong and red forever beneath the southern cross. Need i say more
