21" front rim on a Fatboy or Heritage

    I am still going through the mental torment of exactly what model I would like to purchase. The bike I have envisaged in my mind will ahve the fat FL style forks, nacelle and a 21 " front wheel when the funds allow for it. This would be after the addition of the usual Stealership taxes (Pipes, free-flowing aircleaner unit and Power Commander) and a set of Burleigh Bar's Ramhorns. The question is: Has anyone fitted a 21" wheel to the Fatboy, Heritage or Roadking? Would it be a a straight slot in or would it require some clever modification.

     

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Do.t know about a fatboy or heritage,but it a straight swap on a roadking,it is quite common,on the U.S. site there are a lot of guys putting 21"wheels on baggers.Personally I wouldn't go any bigger than 18".

    Why not get the size rim you want and a set of spokes and re hoop your own wheel.
