Man you don’t know who nick offerman is??

I’ve got a friend who works with him and by all accounts he isn’t acting, that’s pretty much him. He’s known best for parks and recreation series and also a series of wood working vids.

How does adding 4 inch tubes affect the handling Mow?.

Keep in mind stock wideglide is +2 already but I have to say I love it, almost feels like it was MEANT to be this long, feels more stable, corners nicer for me (more clearance) yeah love it.

Well I am surprised that a stock wideglide is plus +2.
Would have thought a stock bike was plus nothing, but there you go, you learn something every day.
Have seen a few older bikes where folk put much longer forks on them and they look wrong if the rake is not also changed.
    Here is an example

And another, almost looks like the same bike.

You used to see lots of the old Honda fours with similar stuff going on. Like the bike is pointing to the sky.
Yours does not look like the above examples and I'm not taking the piss.
If it has improved the handling that's good.
This (custom) bike has longer forks but the rake is changed so it sits parallel to the ground. Regardless of other things.
Guess I was just wondering if you had considered the rake?
Oh yeah, dig your artwork too mate.
    Cheers

From memory the wideglide is raked 3’ or so from factory with offset triple trees it’s why they come with +2” standard for the last generation anyway.
    And thanks!

The Wide Glide always had a slightly greater rake than the Super Glide or Low Rider, right back to the original in 1980.

Been thinking about doing the same even years before I bought the bike. Definitely doing it now.

Could do with a pic of your bars from the front. Looking to go small risers, small apes.

Had my street bob almost 6 years now. had the memphis shades screen on about 3 months now and even though i bought the mustang seat with the rider backrest just after i got the bike i prefer the screen. it takes a lot of the load off my back and i like the look of it instead of the clear detachable i have been using for years. ( this one is also detachable ). got the fatbob shocks off a forum member it rides the same just looks better.HD Forums Australia - IMG_05251.jpg

Looks like the Memphis shades road warrior fairing?
What height is it and did you go with the vented version?
