i wasnt sure if this thread was for just tourers style bikes, but when you think about it, you can tour on almost anything if you really wanted to.

Hi Gadget .. just in case it hasn`t been asked yet but what is all the writing on the Saddlebags .. places you have been or something else .

And how long is the trip taking you .. looks like some nice places you are getting to see .. Is the trip being done through these strange times and if so did you have any issues at the boarders .

    Cheers .

TJ man is from photo of past. these days, the army will shoot you for going through them. As an army mate said, anyone disobeying the drive through well shoot, as they got families and and think of them first and orders.  But Gadget obviously had a fucken good trip. I never took photo's as shit photographer, and never  wanted evidence of where I went. But going for a ride down the highway in morn, will take some photos of my Glider. cheers

Baloffski .. thanks for the heads up on pic .. haven`t been near the Qld boarder since this whole Covid thing started up .. been doing rides around Sth East Qld for the time being .. Qld politicians are looking at Total Boarder closure again if things get any worse down Vic and Nsw`s .

Wonder if they are any closer to a Vaccine at least or preferably a Cure .. what`s that current Buzz word .. Unprecedented times .. sorry 2 words , Lol .

Gadget .. thanks for the reply .. looks like you got to see some great places .. and flies , know what you mean .. even where we live West of Ipswich in Summer can be a bit annoying .. can only imagine how bad they are in the Deep West .

Keep enjoying the Open roads .. Cheers .

So, we went for a ride to Murray Bridge and then down to the coast at Robe. Some good dirt roads to get to the beach. Bit crappy for a swim though. Nice run all up, just thought I would share for all our Victorian brothers and sisters who are confined at the moment. Stay safe and hope you all can get out for a ride soon

    Cheers

    Wade

PS if anyone knows how to rotate the photo please do. It does not seem to matter which way I rotate it it always uploads on it's side.

Thanks Steelo, not too sure what I was doing wrong but it always ended up on its side. The photo that is, not the bike.

Yeah thanks for the weather forecast PB. Just looked at the 7 day outlook here and the max is 14C. Should be grateful though, it was minus 2 when we left for the ride the other day.

    Cheers

Hi Shady … did you have to buy the plug off Harley and then wire up to the Eliminator kit , pretty straight forward job .

Another little thing to check on and that's the rear reflector … usually above or below the number plate … haven't got mine on just yet but the original one should be able to be attached under kit at base of number plate … with a little bending to match the curved eliminator kit .

Considering how much other stuff we do to our bikes this doesn't seem like a big issue but I was pinged on my 08 Softail by transport dept. back when the Big Bikie Blitz was on … no fine or points at the time but a ticket was given and I was told it was in the system and if I was done again then the fine would follow … put one on and never had a hassle .

When I do put mine on I am hoping it will not only look Ok but will also cover most if not all of that lower Black rubber bung … yours being Black paintwork the rubber bung doesn't stand out as much as mine ... we will see .

The kit comes with plug and play...no additional wiring needed.......i will have a look at where the reflector can go

Can you share what you ordered from custom dynamics to get that setup please.

Shady 1964 … Great minds think alike … Lol … did the same to my 17 RG Special … really cleans up the rear end … not sure what the boys in Blue

would think though … fingers crossed they would realise especially with the Bag Blades how much better they are and how much brighter they are ,

time will tell I suppose .

Can you share what you ordered from custom dynamics to get that result. thanks

So I ordered the indicator elimination kit but with the quad frame for international so that you get orange indicators...its a simple swap and plug and play
