excessive engine oil in AF

    For the engine gurus.

Have a Ness big sucker AF fitted for 8000K's or so now. Noticed engine oil build up on main case below AF, so pulled AF cover off to find excessive oil build up.

This has soaked the element, is dripping out and over everything. Cleaned etc, another 1000K's same amount of oils every where.

    Any clues?

    Thanks in advance

CP i have had the same problem for a while and everyone i have spoken to say its a build up of air, With me its the air cleaner bolts that mount the backing plate to the engine, See if they are  hollow and i would say you have the same problem, Its called blow back or something. Hope it helps.

    Thanks Finny.
Blow back would be correct however, the amount of oil is not just a fine misting.
I'm not overly worried about it, its just shitty.

Aha. This is good info guys, It's starting to gell in my gourd now.
With the ness setup there is bugger all i can do with the vents because they are integral with the backplate.
No hoses like the stock setup running into the back of AF. This has got me thinking though.
Should have time on the weekend to play.
