    Hey guys,

Couple of quick questions, does anyone know a reliable person in NSW who will be able to lace wheels? Secondly, does anyone have an idea of what sort of $$$ would be involved so I know that I'm not being ripped off? Got a qoute from the only place I could find a few weeks back and it was over a grand, not going to mention the providers name but it seems a little excessive?

Anyone had a rusty set of HD wheels you've replaced the spokes on, who did the work and what was the damage?

    Cheers

    Waz

You could have a crack at lacing it yourself, do it on the loungeroom floor with a couple of JD's, then send it into the shop to be trued up, will save a lot of $$'s.

The first couple of attempts will fuck with your head a little but with persistance you will get it along with a sense of achievment. There probably guides on the internet on how to do it.

Hi all...Ive re-spoked 2 wheels in my time,Its a piece of piss.If your replacing spokes and the wheel is straight,Even easier,Do one spoke at a time and tighten at the same weight as the one that come out.Its all common sence once you figure it out.

chivos been doin wheels longer than jesus was playin fullback for the deciples against the isrlites ...i learnt of f the natli boys yrs agao to lace it is easy after 20 or more wheels but when ppl drop me a 80 spoker that when the hard part really starts if ya doin a basic harley is simple to learn just keep a wheel already done on a bike ect near so you got a reference point ..trueing is a bit time consumeing but once again after 20 odd wheels its easy laceing the trumpy conicals ect are fun an wheels that need an offset can test ppl who not done many good price is 100 per wheel if customer supplies spokes stainless are good for not rusting but are a more brittle metal than mild steel and dont get them twisted shit lol they rust an press hard on eachother once laced an chrome drops off within weeks of gettin done

Spoked Wheel Repairs in Peakhurst or Chivo's are both great and honest.
