My 2014 Is still going strong, about hit 60,000km

My 2010 thats been sitting in my garage while parts accumulate for the past few months is starting to pick up speed:

RWC and Rego next week hopefully then it gets torn down for the install of bars, risers, grips, cables, exhaust (D&D), Powdercoated wheels, tyres, Suspension, Brakes, quick shifter and plenty more.

The plan is that I'll ride it through summer then it'll come apart again for an S&S 110 in the new year. I have a wide glide rear fender to go on so maybe when its apart for the motor work a colour change might even be on the cards.

Nice work Steve, I’m liking the lower engine mount cover, did you make it?

Its from SpeedMerchant in the US. Costs me about $250.

I like that it stops the constant battery of road debris at the front engine mount. I think I'll get a black one for my other Fat Bob

    +1.

Are you going to get it blacked out? The holes look nearly big enough to open a beer with too. Score.

Be good Roo protection there too - when I hit one it gave the plastics etc in that area a bit of a touch up.

No my 2014 is blacked out so I want this one chrome, well I say that but I'm thinking of taking to everything that is chrome with some scotchbrite.

I've it a dead roo before and bits of meat and hair were hanging off the engine mount, this will certainly prevent that!

You “want” chrome, that’s unusual these days, I like a bit myself, reckon mine’s got more bling than a gypsy’s nose but my bash plate fairing thing has to go.

Jeeze thanks Steve, lol, never thought of it that way, now it definitely has to go, or maybe fit a tap. :) cheers
Haven’t removed it so far as the bracket runs through the front engine mount, so it’s a bit of work.

    Hehehe sorry ;)

Does it share the same mounting bracket as the HD chin spoiler?

Here's mine as it sites currently. I've added a few cosmetic touches since I got it, mostly just getting rid of a few bits of chrome and the excessive amount of Willie G skulls the previous owner put all over it. Otherwise, it's Stage 3 with SE259E cams and what I believe to be a canned map (didn't get the race tuner with it). There's a few more cosmetic things I want to do, get it properly tuned, and then I really need to settle down a bit.

Err, they're not actually CNC Ported heads. Actually a bit better than that, it's just to throw others off the scent.
Oh yes, there's a poultice of work been done. That work and the parts used (to me) was the attraction of the purchase.
The list of stuff is comprehensive and all top shelf. It's a sleeper.

Have to break out the shades to ride it in daylight, the reflection off the chrome everywhere is blinding.

There was a lot of money spent before the PO lost interest and parked it in a corner, until my purchase.

Hi Steve, it's a similar principle, same engine mount bolts but it comprises two brackets, the main bracket being a winged thing that curves under the engine mount so from how it looks I don't reckon I can undo one bolt, rotate the mount like you would with a Chin spoiler, then replace the bolt and undo the other.

I'm compiling a few other changes so I'll do em together. Cheers
