I wouldn't mind one of these drones.

Well,  I am in the business of drones, so I am a bit biased, BUT... I will say that I don't know who these organisations talk to, but 50 GRAND!!  Really!!   Someone is making a MOTZA and it's not me!! LOL!!

If anyone has seen the Fox Copter on the footy or the cricket?  One of them will cost you about $10,000 air worthy.   A fixed wing bird with plenty of range will come in just under double that.

That said, for $600 you can get a small copter that will carry full HD cams, and be completely autonomous.  It will fly itself!!

I started playing with UAVs about 6 years ago, and since then the industry has boomed.  They are hear to stay.

I just hate all the dooms day rhetoric claiming that there will be UAVs outside your window watching you shower.  Really??  They are actually not that quiet, and it would be easier to sit across the street with a handy cam!

Anyways... You will see more and more of these on the news I guess.

Seriously they would need a swarm of these if say 15 members all rode of in different directions. Makes me laugh.

I think it's time people started making and selling anti-drone attack drones :)

Over 350 of these were sold to companies in NSW alone last year for filming private property and private activities

    windows wink

I plan on (plan can be broad)

I was going to do a flyover our local golf course, you know the tee to green thing with the yardage.

do a video induction for work, there are places that are not covered on the walkaround.

I will be in Talbingo for the Spyder muster in April, 120 registered so far, the usual pics and now the fly over video for the website.

if I get good at manual control, I may send it up from my boat to get on the fish (dreaming)

you never know what may come from it, news footage, some sports shots, the odd Harley ride

I have no interest to spy on bikies angel
