Anyone got any clue's how to fix this , went for a ride today and after stopping for a feed started bike and went about  500mtres and the security light on the dash came on.

Bike kept going no problems at all but the light stayed on all the way home about 250ks , bike starts, runs, doesn't seem to be a problem , security system still works .

Can I fix this somehow and will I have to take it to a dealer??????

I think it means a fault code has been lodged. I'm sure I read you can reset it, but maybe its smart to find out what the fault lodged was?

I have just had the same thing happen to mine & its in the shop, I could even start the bike with the fob had to do the code thing. I will let you know how I get on mine its an 07 street glide. The fob batteries were charge 3/13 so it ruled that out.

check that all your lights are working , could be the headlight bulb is blown low/high beam

Definitely a fault code alert. Can read codes from speedo, to check what it is,"how to" is in the owners manual

after 300 k trip to dealer found out it was low beam blown , when I checked the lights thought it was ok did it in the garage and what I thought was low beam was the faarrkin parkers . All good now will know to check all the lights properly next time

I had no error codes come up on mine on the speedo or the Harley program, so it makes it a bit hard for that.
