hi fellas, just an update on my build,,,,slow process but am enjoying every minute ,,,almost.also hand rubed all my covers and push rod tubes,good old wet&dry,came up a treet i recon.the engine case will eventually be black.....jocky

great stuff , i love the rigid look but the roads where  live ..... i like my back more so after being called a " pussy " lol i went the softail way ,  really nice build mate  and will be keeping an eye on this for hints on mine

Looking good Jocky. The covers have come up like new. I've got one of those Gorilla bike stands too, just didn't realise that it was a stand, been using mine for painting.  

yeah gt1200 works well, its called improvisation,,haha,even takes my body weight aswell,,,lol.....jocky

finally got some more work done on my build...thanks to ray..for the spacers and tips along the way.just a few more brackets and kick stand to weld in place.

belt guard to make, then onto electrical,,,aaahhhh fun times,,,o yeah and some more money,,not to worrie i will get there one day,as you can see from my post dates its been going awhile....jocky
