Ok, I already have a layback number plate,but what I would like is to mount the numberplate under the tail light bar.I have seen the layback type tail light assembly with the clear number plate lens in the bottom,for sale.What I would really like to know is,does anyone know for sure that they are a direct fit replacement for the original tail light assembly,because I don't want to have to take my light off and find the new one is slightly different in size and hence leave a mark on the rear guard(fender) where the old one was fitted.Don't want to have to paint anything.
