    Hello,

I have just purchased my first Harley a 2013 Fatbob wth Shortshots and screamin eagle breather - Have checked codes it has P1475  and P1632 i clear them and they return, Also when coming to a stop it sometimes will stall when i pull the clutch in - Only after i have been riding for a while - The harley dealer is 700kms away so any help that might lead me in the right direction to avoid me having to take it back to dealer would be very helpful

P1475 is Active Exhaust actuator position error. The reason for this is most likely because the sevo motor for the exhaust valve was diconnencted when the short shots were fitted.

P1632 is Odometer Learned up. - the good book says - This code is set when the speedometer mileage is higher than the mileage in the ECM. The ECM will set the code and increase its mileage to match the speedometer. This will normally occur when the ECM is replaced or if continuous battery is not present on terminal 18 of the ECM. If this code is set, verify the speedometer or ECM have not been replaced with a used part from another vehicle. Clear the DTC. If the code returns, the ECM may not be powering down properly

Neither are reason for a stall however if your tune hasnt been altered from stock to richen up in compensation for freer flowing pipes and HB air cleaner it could be running on the lean side. If you did not get a tuning module eg SE,Power Commander or the like etc supplied with the bike then it will be stock tune methinks.

Ps an intro always helps first

Is it an import? That may also explain a change in speedo.

OK have worked out after a few more rides Code P1475 will always be there because a have Short Shots fitted and the actuator is disconnected but Code P1632 only appears after bike has stalled when coming to a stop also have noticed the revs drop real low just before the stalling - I have replaced battery and tightened battery connections just in case

With the low idle / stall you may want to check the IAC valve.

The one on my fatboy was doing a similar thing recently in that it would stall after a short stop / refuel after starting up. Symptoms were low idle then stall or idle going up & down abnormally. When riding along no issue as the IAC is out of the question.

After cleaning it the idle is very smooth and consistent plus throttle response off idle much much better.

make sure you cycle the ignition switch a few times so it moves up & down as it helps clear the carbon buildup too. I also used a cotton bud to help clear it.
