Hey guys, I'm organising a run to WA in May 2016. I have to spead some ashes near Margaret River so I thought I'd invite those who may be interested in a good ride to come along as well.

There are two groups going but the one I'm organising is departing Renmark on the 1st May and pretty much heading straight across to Albany (Southern WA) and would return to Renmark around the 11th of May. The other group are heading via Darwin and doing to the loop through the top end of WA down to Perth then hooking up with us and all riding back together. At this stage there are around 5 or 6 in each group, the Darwin group are leaving Renmark a week earlier, approx. 23rd April. I'll let those guys start a different thread.

    The start date is locked in however the stop overs may be subject to change so I would allow 2 weeks if you are interested. Dates and stop overs as follows;

    May 1
Meet-up at Renmark for those doing the straight across to WA run.
Accommodation options yet to be researched.

    May 2
Depart Renmark for Streaky Bay - 787km's - Have to try the oysters apparently
    http://www.streakybayhotel.com.au/

    May 3
Depart Streaky Bay for Norseman - 1,310km's
    http://www.therailwaynorseman.com.au/

    May 4
Depart Norseman for Albany - 648km's - Accommodation yet to be researched depending on numbers etc

    May 5
Free day to get bikes serviced, tyres etc in Albany

    May 6
Head to Perth to meet up with Darwin crew. Will chat to those guys soon about accommodation for us all in Perth.

    May 7
Head back towards Albany (via Margaret River).

    May 8
Day off or some local riding around Albany.

    May 9
Depart Albany and head back east.

The trip home could be the same as the trip over in regards to stop overs which means we should be back in Renmark on or around the 11th of May.

Please feel free to leave recommendations on different hotels etc.

    Cheers, DW.

Don't worry GT. Your bike won't let you down and go running back to Trevor.

Did show some interest in this ride on the sportysurprise but now hoping the streetglide adds some credibility? You know, being a real bike ridden by a real man. wink

It would be fun on the Sporty, Streaky to Norseman leg ?  crying

OK, I am going to pull out of the main event now, rather than at the last minute. Just too much happening here this year.

But... I will meet you at Renmark Sun 1st and ride to Streaky Bay Mon 2nd then return home Tues 3rd. this might suit other riders from Adelaide that can not commit to the whole ride. Hopefully a few more will tag along?

Hey Deadleg. how's the planning going? Looks like most are heading over a week before your dates? I'm still keen on the SA section, looks like that might be around the same time my sheds are getting built, but I should be able to work around that.

Three tourers, three different colours, best at the front.

All in a row, in the natural order of the universe.
