Yeah Marz, didnt have much money, but put it in the right place.
I'm running a Music Hall MMF9 ( the one with the carbon arm but alloy headshell, prefer it.), a Marantz PM4 amp from the very early 80's,(15 watts Class A) and a pair of early 80's Mordaunt Short MS10's on Soundstyle Stands.
I bought a light and rigid real wood coffee table for 6 bucks from the local Vinnies, sanded it back and oiled it. I use a Mission Isoplat(which is spiked) under the MMF9 which sits on the coffee table.I also have a sub, but just use it for bass Foundation.
Previous system was well advanced on this, but had to sell it when I lost my son. What are you running?
    Cheers.

P.S. I'm using an Audio Technica AT95VL as a cartridge. Once run in, its fantastic for the price.

Nice Wimbo... AT95VL is a great cartridge

I got an old original Rega Planar 3 with RB250 tone arm, with Ortofom Blue cartridge. Amp is Sansui AUD-9.. old White Label, hell I still gotta cassette deck  Speakers are Tannoy Saturn 8 and Whatmough tempest sub.

Collected over many years.. many original pressings... Sabbath, Flyod, Zep, Hendrix, CCR, Purple etc

    Cheers

So, 70's model walnut Rega with the RB250. The AUD9 was the flagship amp back then and I've always loved the Dual Concentric Tannoys. Nice kit Marz.

Huge Pink Floyd fan from many years ago.
I really only enjoy the early stuff, but will go as far as The Wall, and The Final cut occasionally.

Just got a copy of the BBC video special " Pink Floyd Beginnings 1967-1972"  but yet to watch it.
Some great old footage, and worth a look

The final cut every time as a whole album, into so many different songs but not albums.

I had Delicate Sounds of Thunder on VHS years ago but no longer have it. I have recently searched high and low for it on Bluray or DVD and it doesnt seem to exist. WTF?? I reckon it would be awesome on my surround sound and with the picture quality of Bluray but obviously the boys don't want my "money"
