I worked out there, well 450km SW, and we didn't even stop there for diesel. We called it Ripoff Rock!

Shame that, as the black fellers have loved this place for years, we have had heaps of people come on planes just to look at it.
Yep its a captured market price list every were you go at the rock, but when you set your eyes on this "wonder of the earth" it dose take your breath away

PS there is a supermarket with good prices in the square in town and a camp ground $38.00 per night not each thats car 5 people

     Neither can I!

Had a ball there in 86. You could just lob up, ride around it, climb it and go. No need to pay anyone for anything.

Would love to ride-meet & greet.
Dunno, bout "Alice", pension week nah. Ahh.. but all cool. Personally, I  need to look forward to something anywhere...
Suggest Albany.. down South W.A.  Ohh Ohh... Before get shot down, just an idea..
As much homework to go into after destination is chosen, so get cracken fellas, as I never been on a "F Run" before.
One of the few places a lot of people have not been...Anything in the pot is just a dream, or reality.
Tassie is a beautiful road. So is @#$%^&. But, need crew to make the old effort.
This is a bloody hard one to nut out a destination with Accommodation , Beer , safe bike, Beer and other shit.
My motorcycle isn't the latest, fastest or the best looking around but it is mine!

Alice sounds like a good run from all corners of the country, apart from the locals, who probably wouldn't mind catching up with Forum blokes. That would be a rare occasion, I would've thought. ????? Even the Mexicans wouldn't whinge!

Myself i think Moama is an ideal location as it has every thing that we need (Pub) within walking distance and

at night courtesy buses to run you back, heaps of accomadation even for the late comers, central for the NSW

mob and the Sth Oz crew, places like Menindee and Broken Hill unless you swag it we would have trouble

accomadating most together. The only thing i dont like about Moama is its too close to Melb, hardly worth starting our

bikes China, maybe we can head up via Gundagai.

All sugestions are welcome as we will need to decide early new year i guess.

Best we go via where ever Chriso is at.  The lad needs help with directions, not to mention flood waters.

    How's about Streaky Bay, SA?

Streaky Bay, is a bloody pearler. Just saw, bloody good idea, it is a biker friendly joint with shit loads of accom. Bloody Goolwa Ha...  last time I was there for a surf was paddling for a wave and felt sandpaper on my right hand (nah. not dreaming) fooken Goolwa shark going for me hand the barstead, as opening of the Mighty River Murray that has fishes coming round for food.. I'd go back again no probs. Love the joint.

Goolwa is a fantastic venue. That would mean I could get there. I did a practice run today actually.

Having been involved with sailing National Titles for many years , just throwing this out there . If a National meet was a rotational state event , then state members could organise a place for all to attend . WA and TAS are going to be hard to accommodate with travelling ( though I,ve towed a boat to Perth ) , so maybe a Vic , SA , QLD , ACT roster ?
