Thanks steelo. Not desperate to sell this bike as it's been good to me and goes really well in every respect. However I'm planning around the possibility of being bikeless for a while

    Hi guys.
Thanks for positive comments and all. I haven't had any interest yet but haven't advertised it at all beyond this post.

I checked my mileage today and it's only 15,000km and not 18,000 like I thought. I also have the genuine sissy bar and pad, touring rack etc, all in black and quick detachable. Plus the oem exhaust, mufflers, air cleaner, the se tuner box etc.

I may put it on bikesales eventually when I'm more at ease about selling it if that makes sense.

Had my first Gumtree inquiry. An offer of $16k. Who offers 25% under asking price without even asking to see the bike?!

The advert looks and reads good FB. Hang in there. The right buyer will come along soon. When they are standing in front of you with the hand out to shake, you will have to make a decision then. Don't be despondent with the wanker online offers. Cheers

Thanks Binnsy. You are right. An RG was definitely one of the potential bikes on my wish list. The missus wanted the top box and trimmings though. Hence the Ultra.

    Thanks all for kind words.
I may be going bikeless for a while but also explored the possibility of getting another bike. I have discussed a trade with local dealer and one in qld who both offered me $20k. I would probably just go with the trade if going for another bike but that's not really.in my plans. I'll keep the current price tag on.

    Price drop to $20k.
That's the same as what I was offered by three different dealers for a trade-in but I don't want another bike, at least for now.

Nothing to do to this bike. Set up perfectly for touring
