Good to see quite a few bikes going. Pity Ralphski can't make it, maybe he's the new Davutch.. Never mind mate, we will send you a postcard from the next level.

Just going to make a sensible comment, when, ya just made me spit my Gordons/tonic and lemon..(ma daily meds at the moment.)
keep having a good time, don't wanna know, but...
Only playing along, as we know, is chitty chat banter.
Bloody cold ride boyz, rug up and keep safe, very envious.
Remember, sitting on the porch at Blinman hotel 1970, having a coke with my old man.

Whatever anyone says, it is Bullshit.

Awesome run again guys, thanks to all, and thanks again to Tim for sharing the room after the Trans cancelled my booking.

Good to see you home ok Lofty. Dont worry ET. What happens on the road stays on the road(or the shed floor)
Had a great weekend fellas. Good job by Bob to take it too the next level. Great to get out for a run even in the car. Looking forward to hitting the road soon.
Hope the rest of you get home before it gets too wet.

Well, I survived my first BB run.  Great to catch up with everyone.  Some fantastic scenery up that way.  Thanks Tim for taking us through Horrocks Pass Rd this morning, that was brilliant.  Me and the straggler (steelo), that I picked up on the way home made it back in good time.
    Here are some pics:

The Brass Balls week end is done again for another year and what a great ride - there and back.
Most of us were home before the rain hit properly so we were basically rain free for the week end but it was still cold.

Got underway from Roseworthy on time with 7 bikes (Lofty, Roady, Kingchops, Tim and Action, Steelo, Wingers and myself)
These week ends away are all part of Action's on going education (I think).

Met up with Mickle, George, GT and Graz at Stone Hut for a road kill pie for late breakfast.

Big effort from Mickle and George to ride over from Melbourne (again).
Same for Graz who couldn't bring the bike because of recent hand surgery but drove up for the week end.

Pushed on to Quorn for a short stop them out to Hawker and Blinman (for more pies).
Pity the pub at Blinman was shut.

Back to Quorn where we met up with the Soapies and then settled in to a night at the pub.

Managed to keep AJ from the jukebox this year but found out he is a closet Home and Away groupie - ask him for the photos.
Think he put a reasonable dent in their port keg again.

Up early the next morning to see George and Mickle off - taking the short cut to Melbourne via Cobar in NSW.

Wingers left before breakfast to get home for a family matter but the rest had breakfast before setting off for home via Pichi Richi Pass, Horrocks Pass and the Port Germein Gorge - great ride.

Couple peeled off and headed straight for home but a few of us stopped at Auburn for a beer then made the dash home to beat the rain.

Thanks to everyone for another memorable week end.

Look forward to doing it again next year when hopefully we can get a few more participants.

I think the next ride pencilled in is to Kadina (Ride for Riley) then Lucindale, Moama, Edenhope (not necessarily in that order).

Lucindale and Edenhope look like they have a fair bit of interest.

Hopefully a few more from SA can make it to Moama.

Thanks again - great week end.

PS - there is a rumour of taking up a collection to buy Lofty a replacement bag (something that actually stays on his bike)

As always, great company and great rides with you lot. Cheers for organising it Bob.
Had a blast, especially sunday when Tim led us through some amazing trails/twisties and drop-roos.
I did have some gear problems about 20mins out of home (wouldn't get out of 6th gear), somehow, I managed to get it working though. Seems the heel/toe configuration of these tourers can cause some issues. I'll heed the advice of a few of you guys and just take off the heel lever. Problems arose most likely from the aggressive heel-pounding gear changes through those twisties.

Well, I was just cruisin' along keeping Mickle honest, and all of a sudden, the bike felt a lot lighter..........

Great weekend. Bobo was nominated by CSB for a double header award for organizing a great ride and for getting rid of ralphski.
Here's AJ and his mate Charlie (aka "Who the fuck's Zac") negotiating a possible role in Wolf Creek the series.

Some of the crew. AJ had drained the port keg, so they gave him the 5L container to save time.
Thanks to all those that braved to cold to make it another great forum event.

Well done to you and Mickle. Your efforts in getting to forum events across borders and at time and expense to yourselves is part of the reason that they are so well attended. The phrase "If it's good enough for China and Mickle...." surely springs to mind.
The ride was well attended and organised. The roads and scenery fantastic. Thanks Bob!. Thanks GT for offering to share your room at my last minute decision to come along. Had a couple good chats and laughs with Graz, Tim and Mr and Mrs Soapy. Had a good ride home with Kingchops after getting cut from the herd following a unscheduled stop
I am happy to report that my first extended ride on the tourer was a resounding success. Even though the rain started at Roseworthy, I rode the final 60 odd k's home without getting wet. I look forward to the next ride. Well done all.

Morgan SA, first arvo Beer stop, and no I didn't have a West End.

Saturday morning departure from the Spalding Hotel SA, with the Publican Geoff looking on.

Stone Hut Pie stop and meet up with the SA boys, Pre start meeting, pity BoBo wasn't listening then we may have departed in the right direction.

BoBo sucking on a ciggie instead of conducting the Pre start.

    Blinman Pie stop.

    Wilpena Pound SA turnoff.

Between Broken Hill and Wilcana beer stop.

And then there were 3, Wilcana fuel stop offered old mate to tag along behind us with our bright lights as we wouldn't make Cobar before dark.

Old mate not sure of these new fandangle Harleys, he was heading to Darwin from Perth after picking up a mate near Parkes NSW.

Pub in Cobar had good Pizza and $5 Carlton Draught Schooners. Those Prawns cost $2 extra.

Start of our last leg home.
