My Ol Mazda 3 pulled up at a spot a few of you would recognise outside Hebel.

    April 2010.

When I rode through these in October last year, the legs of the sign were just under water.

Nice. Bit of water; glad I didn't see that much on my ride. I will have to load my vid of riding through the water south of Hebel.

May inspire Kingchops to set up a 'Bikes going through water' thread?

    Sticking with the VW's
I dont know why as when modern cars stuff up its mega dollars.
    $2500 for aircon compressor
    $2500 for EGR
    $2000 for exhaust manifold
Once this stuffs up again its going to be a $500 Holden wagon

Here's a pic of my HSV Avalanche, behind it in the trailer are two Shovels, one '76flh and one '78fxe,
22 liters/100 km's of premium fuel was sending me broke, now its 23 litres/100 km's on gas, much easier on the wallet,

some thing not right there with fuel use my HSV XUV AVALANCHE dose around 16 liters around town and 9.5 out on the highway

Always loved those Avalanches L. I've never seen the HSV version. Yours looks great

The Avalanche is the HSV version of the Holden Crewman Cross 8. An All Wheel Drive version of the Crewman SS.

Although only available in a 4 speed Auto I reckon the HSV Avalanche is highly collectable and will see values climb steeply in the not too distant future. If you have one keep it.....or sell it to me.

Thanks R. I knew I knew the model. Just couldn't remember it. I was always surprised the AWD Commodore wagon wasn't a bigger seller
