    My Last Car.
Was a 1983 Daihatsu "SCAT". 4WD . I think it may have been the "Spartan" alternative to the "Rocky" models.
You gotta laugh really as a "scat" is basically a piece of shit if you look up the word.
Sold it about 3 years ago to buy a more modern Hilux.
Strangely enough I kind of miss that Scat.
It made you feel rather important as driving it through town, you got the feeling everyone was looking at your car and giving you plenty of room on the road.
Yes it was registered when pics were taken.
Owned it for about 10 years. Serviced it regularly, never washed it once, and it just kept going.
    2.8 litre diesel.
Windscreen grew moss/lichen on it too! How cool is that?

Bloody hell. Someone actually paid you for that? Was it in beer?

Probably still going, by the sounds of things!

Yes someone did pay me for that.
They were going to put mud tyres on it and use it for a wood hooker. You know, a firewood collection vehicle.

Good idea. I'm carting wood in my Mazda at the moment and it makes for an improvement of the smell in the car! And to think people pay for car air fresheners....

My Ol Mazda 3 pulled up at a spot a few of you would recognise outside Hebel.
    April 2010.

When I rode through these in October last year, the legs of the sign were just under water.

I have a couple utes, a Rodeo 2.8t and my Chev Corvair Rampside.
The Rampie is a unique kinda vehicle, Chevrolet only made 10,000 odd in the early sixties. 6 cylinder horizontally opposed aircooled engine lives above the back axle. The rampside door make it easy to load as i can push a trolley straight up in there. It draws a lot of attention form young and old. Everyone who sees it smiles.

We took it to the National Chevrolet Festival in Mudgee a couple years back and it won first in the Commercial Vehicles section.

When you don't give a fuck what others think. Yeah, it's mine.
Perfect for parking by braille, keeps the rain off and a huge boot.
No power steer, aircond or other shit to go wrong. No radio, just like my bike !
Fuck off magnets fitted front, rear and sides, no-one comes near ya with a hat on the back parcel shelf.
