Money well spent CB. We opted for a similar treatment on my wife's car on delivery as it sometimes gets parked in an area that's prone to a fair bit of batshit. Just hoses straight off as you've mentioned. Good to know there's a product for bikes also. Cheers for sharing.

    Looks good mate.

Does the bike/car have to be new or near new for this treatment or can I get my older rides done with this product?

I have done the same to my two bikes as well...  I did it myself by going on a course in how to learn to do paint correction (waxit.com.au) and then bought all the gear and had a crack at it.  Its actually bloody easy BUT it is time consuming so 12 hours on a touring bike would not surprise me.  For me I used CQ-Quartz UK Edition as the ceramic coating and then Carpro Reload as the weekly detail spray after I wash her.
Regardless of the brand used...I have to agree that NOTHING beats the finish and durability that a ceramic coating can give to your paint finish.  ($500 is a good deal too! as the products I use cost over $200)
