Has anyone ever removed the key barrel from a slim/fatboy/deluxe switch housing? I'm thinking of getting mine powder coated but I don't want to risk damage the barrel itself in the oven. I know you can buy powder coated ones already but it would be good to keep the original key. I've pulled mine apart down to just the housing and barrel but there must be a way of getting it out?
