Ah yes same old NSW tactics , blame the coach , blame the refs all the well worn excuses. Sack them all start again, fuck off Pierce, lazy fat cunt Fafita and get some passion and desire into your game. Any bets who is the next ,in an extensive line, up to coach the Blues.....

Yeah, read that too. Few went for beer and a pint a couple of days before the game. I'm sure some need to blow off steam, but you'd wanna back it up on the night.
    Fail...

Maybe FC is onto something PB: stop pointing out to NSW what they shouldn't be doing to prepare for a big game.
Hell, next year let's chip in to send some 2 for 1 beer & betting vouchers to their hotel!

Re eligibility, can someone explain to me how Greg Inglis plays for qld despite being born in nsw, playing junior footy in nsw, playing rep footy in nsw, attending school in nsw, and having no father who had played for qld?
He only moved to qld after he'd turned 16 and that move was orchestrated by the Melbourne storm. So less than 2 years of his junior footy (which was a professional contract arranged from a Victorian club) in qld somehow overturns all of his other background in nsw which is far more than < 2 years.
There are others too. The eligibility has been a joke at times.

Cowboys lost but certainly didn't get their butts kicked. Went well considering they camped down their own end for 3/4 of the match and wore plenty of late shots.
More broadly us Qld'ers know that you have to throw the NSW supporters something every so often or the state will run out of Kleenex. Again.

....Melbourne is effectively a Qld side.
I'd add that irrespective of Qld-NSW stuff, the consistently piss poor refereeing is killing the game.
