if you can the dynojet mount to work with 1.5" or to go on the ram ball mount it is heaps better
has quick release on/off, when you get home or are out it just lifts off, mine eventually broke but the cable stopped it from flying off (maybe got 3yrs out of it)

the sun visor is handy too

Mounted up on the bike. The Ram Mounts worked a treat. Tucked in nicely on the bars

On another note, might get a visor/quick release as well for the tuner. Anyone know if you can buy em in aus??

So first auto tune done today, went for about an hour or so on the bike then flashed the tune and rode it home.  Certainly made the bike run a bit differently, have always had decel pop (GONE) throttle response felt a bit crisper and smoother.  Seemed to pull away a lot better up in the top end of the box at lower speeds.  So far so good after a short tuning run.  I will continue to build on this tune.
Had a bit of a problem though.  I have set up all the gauges but buggered if I can get em to work.   The trip computer/logger works well  but I am getting no real time information.  RPM engine temp etc.  Anyone got any ideas why this might happen?  I did update the software prior to install.

Out for a second run yesterday, rode for an hour or so around the coast so plenty of twisties and few hills so on and off the throttle.  Bike certainly runs better after a tune with this gadget.  Got all my gauges up and running so I can monitor engine temp etc. which is a good thing at the lights or in heavy traffic.  Has a gauge for everything, a very clever little unit, glad I got one.  Oh and you can set minimum and maximum for the gauges/readings as well, so the display turns red if you go over or under the maximums for any readings.  Clever.

Nice mount Binnsy. That's the position I am after, in the middle of handle bars. I just ordered the sun visor in black chrome. Makes it quick detach. Next item will be the handlebar mount. Need more homework to order the bits to centre it over my speedo similar to your pos. Think I will need an elbow and 2 inch bar. But like I said, more homework req. glad your liking the PC, awesome bit of kit

Based on everyone's results in this thread, I decided to get hold of a PV as well.
It arrived the other day (along with stage 1 air filter kit) from fuelmoto, along with a pre-loaded map based on my setup... have everything installed, but not yet been for a ride to get the autotune dialed in.

Finding a mounting point on the Ultra is proving to be a challenge, but for now I've just mounted it in one of the panniers as I'm not sure I'll be leaving in connected all the time to monitor everything while I'm riding (there's already enough things to look at right?). Looking forward to heading out on Saturday to get the autotune sorted and seeing what sort of difference it makes.
