Paris bans pre 1999 motorcycles ?

Have I missed this elsewhere on the forum ? Sorry if so !

From this month Parisian roads are a "no go" area for motorcycles 1999 or older , with "rolling date change" so by 2020 no motorcycles older than 2004.

Could this spread around the world ? Don't forget we in Australia get all that Euro 4 shit , catalytic converters/ "active exhaust" etc etc

    Sure it's for all those 50cc two strokes , ( except it ain't !)

Can't seem to attach links this evening ?

Sheesh, I lucked out! My FLHRC is OK to cruise into Paris until 2027, by which time I'll be 70. Should be right I reckon...
p.s. In NSW we already have Historic rego which allows older bikes to be used recreationally.

What these dopey Legislators don't get is that older machines have already had their CO2 emissions sequestered. New bikes need new factories belching out emissions.

I dont reckon we have anything to worry about in Australia.
Too large a land mass with a small tax paying population.
I think the gov would try on a congestion tax for the inner city areas before banning pre year models.

Thanks allde for the links. Forum she no like me last night !

Remember our gumbiment are copying MOFOS , so never say never

That plus we nearly all piss off our catalytic converters as soon as the bike is off the showroom floor.

All that "Euro 4" on "our" bikes is at the driven requests of Euro lawmakers. It's no accident we get the HDI (HD international) spec bikes in Oz

All the used ex-USA bikes that come here have none of that shit ,active air/active exhaust , and many have no catalytic converters from new !

They can grip my "cold Dead hands" from my throttle grip, before I give them a wank......
