Hi all. I know I might be yelled at here for not searching the archives, but...... Can anyone recommend a tuner in the Sydney area to have a go at tuning my 883-1200 kitted with cams to make it run cleanly at lower revs,(my current and hopefully last piece of the project). Any help appreciated.

Jim at LA Cycles arguably best in Sydney, he will sort you out.

Not cheap, definitely worth it though.

For example my new bike, straight off the bat made 84/106, 8 hours later it's making 95/114! Not bad for tune only.

As for your sporty, I had one with Hammer cams and skimmed head (tight arse compression bump) and made 87rwhp tuning it myself but wasn't on LA's dyno. His will read a bit lower compared to others but it's just a number at the end of the day and comparing it to what it came in with.

Another one for Cow at L A Cycles he has been building racing tuning & riding Harley's 37 years & only Harley's.
Jimmy operates the dyno & a top operator !
People might say it's not cheap, but to properly MAP EFI it takes a whole day not an easy task or comfortable! But the result is not just the Number's but a totally different more enjoyable Bike to ride!
there are a lot out there who don't know how to tune but just download a map so they don't need to spend much time on your bike and bike probably not as nice to ride.
i'm riding 330k to see Cow soon then take my stock old carb sporty to the track to get some base times. then get Cow to rebuilt & tune the motor. then to the track the long black dyno!!
also like to note Cow does everything in house, machine shop, head work, bottom end ( flywheel rebuilds, ) spoke wheel rebuild & truing tyre fitting balancing, dyno tuning.

you know you are going to the right shop when even HD dealers bring stuff that's in the "too hard basket" to him :)
