Saddlebags

    Hi
    I have the quick release saddlebags for my Dyna low rider.

    The only problem I have is that anything I put in the bags get black on them.

    At the moment I put everything inside another bag but this is a pain.

    My husband has the quick release saddlebags for his softail deluxe and they have never marked anything.

    Any tips on how I can fix this

    Never had a prob with mine. Maybe cheap dye was used. I would give the inside of panniers a good wash. To hopefully remove excess dye

    Get some acetone and some scotchbrite and scrub the inside of the bags it will take off the layer of paint thats transferring onto you stuff.
    Don't get any on the outside of the bags (obviously) and used gloves, mask and do it in  well vented area.

    Have you had a look at the "Saddlebag Lining Bags"?  Less than $100 and they look to be fairly convenient.
