Finished installing them. Look pretty good and the running lights are nice and bright as well. Compliments the 7 inch LED headlight nicely.

Was US $89.95 + Shipping from Revzilla. However I also ordered the Kurakyn ISO Black grips and Black contoured Throttle Boss and got it shipped to a friend's place who was flying to AU, so didn't pay any shipping. (Orders over US $40 gets free shipping within US).

Very clever idea to have a two in one turn signal and running light.  Do the running lights make much difference at night?

For vision, can't really tell TBH, my headlight is crazy powerful and could be drowning any other light source. The led clusters are behind smoked indicator lens btw and if you look at them, they are still super bright, and dazzling without the smoked lens on. I might try and go down one of the back roads with a cardboard and block the headlight to see what the running light's throw is at. :)

Do you have to wire the white cable to anything to get the running white ring lights to work? I just received a pair of these 1156 turn signals but there is a long white cable attached to these things but i have no idea where to wire these to? Can someone help point me to the right direction of where to attached these white cables to? thanks guys.

No it is just a long white wire they said to connect to running light :( to make the outer white ring stay on ... i have no idea where the running light connection is in the turning signals

Not sure which wire you can tap on to. Does any of the AU models come with running lights as standard? Mine is an US model which had the running light wires cut, so I added the wires back in from the connector all the way back to the indicator units and added the second connector for the bulb as well. 

I dont think i got running light wire on my bike it's an AU bike :( maybe it has but i guess i will have to pay the stealership money to look at it for me lol.

I would just tap into the headlight since it comes on when bike is running. Havnt seen the kit but any aux power wire as long as it is not permanent power and only on with ignition. 

Hi I purchased a set of Custom Dynamics LED Turn Signals Inserts which work well. However the Aussie Harleys don't have active running lights like in the US. Meaning the front indicators stay on all the time and flash when used. Custom Dynamics have a white ring which illuminates on the front turn signals and turns off once the blinker is activated. I have 1157 sockets and the white rings do not illuminate, does anyone know how to activate power to the turns signals for the white rings to work as they do in US models? Or do I need to rewire the turn signals.

In addition my front turn signals will only take a 1157 bulb rears are 1156.

Just replied to your message Lowrider. And yeah 1157 front and 1156 rear is the stock US setup.
