The headlight cowling on the first bike looks as though they are trying to copy the Indian Springfield.

Some funky headlights in the mix. You have to smile at the new technology Harley have introduced, monoshock under the seat, my yz had one in the 70s. Lol

You can see the move away from us older owners towards more tech with led dash, lights and styling to attract the next generation

Still chewing over some of this and trawling through ride reports (btw -- why can't a journo write about the bloody bike and not dribble about everything else?).
The Fat Bob 114 is the only one that catches my eye ... worth just over $30000. I note the Fat Bob 107 has gone up $2000. But can't see myself upgrading anytime soon. Interesting that the Fat Bob and Street Bob fuel tanks have decreased circa 4lt's each!

Checked specs of tourers. 4 years since Rushmore and still no Bluetooth on boombox.  I know, I know, not everyone wants to be connected but still seems a shame.

    Found this little statement
The new frames offer three steering head angles in 28-, 30-, and 34-degree rakes, a "standard" and "high" ride height and "wide" or "narrow" swingarm, depending on model. With the parts commonality among eight new models (12 if you count the four 114ci variants), this will mean unprecedented parts and component interchangeability for a new level and ease of customization potentia
Could explain things, common base and fully interchangeable so buy your base and build from there. Harley makes generic parts that fit on all models and you build your dream no more trying to get parts for a specific model.

Well I just looked at the new 2018 lineup from Harley and all I can say is thank god I got my 1993 Heritage Softail it will be staying with me I rather spend money on it to keep it on the road than buy one of these new Harleys.

Docgreen, I'll be waiting on information on this also.

I know Sena sell an interface module that connects to their S20 units. The thing is that you need 1 interface per wireless S20.
What pisses me off is the total price for 2 sets of intercoms and interfaces equates to over $1600 which is another extra cost while Harley continue on there regime of costvcutting.

The fat bob head light looks like a quad bike head light.

So what's that sitting between the down tubes on the frame? Are all these M8 engines oil cooled?
