    Hi,
I own a street 500 2017 and I would like to put ape hangers on my bike. I don't know at lot about bikes as I've only just got into it, I've always wanted ape hangers, but I can't seem to find anywhere that offers it. Anyone know how I can go about getting it done.

    Thank you,
    Keith Allen

Gee mate. My recommendation for a new rider would be to learn how to ride properly and forget form over function for a while.

... and perhaps take note of the dumb ass laws when it comes the legal height of the handle bars on bikes (especially if your fresh with limited points against your license that you can play with)

btw. why aps on a street 500? dont get it (especially if the rest is pretty much stock?????

Hey Banger that’s the best lookin Street I’ve ever seen....top job man well done....

...and although I agree that it might be best to get plenty of experience before bothering, not to mention legalities, if it ain’t obvious why the OP wants to drop Apes on his bike then....doesn’t matter.....OP loves his bike, wants it to have the look.....the look he wants. Don’t we all. Lol cos it’s a street....fn lame. As usual.

Keith - try Burleigh bars in Qld......they can help! Link below to their Apes for your bike.....you’re welcome.

    Well said Dan.

Hey Roo Ted......is your Boganville the one in New Guinea or mine....the one about 40km’s SW of Brisbane? If it’s the latter we should get out for a ride man......

Great plan Dan, but I'm in Tassie.
Not really Boganville, call it Housoville if you like, you get the picture......
But I do like how the apes change the look of the Street.

Hey Roo I’m moving to Tas when I retire in 5 more years......got me the same plate for my bike already.......looking forward to escaping the fn crazy heat and humidity......if we’re still alive, I’ll check out Boganville

Hi guys just reading your comments i agree to get some experience first but i can tell you from someone that has 14's with 3.5 pull back risers 17.5 all up i find it so much easier to ride soooo comfortable its crazy it looks uncomfortable but is not it might be an idea to test ride a bike first good luck

Id hazard at a guess, this bike will be sold on when the license allows to go up to the bigger engines

I would do very minimal changes to the bike until you get the keeper, then customize away

And I guess we'll never know. Alas, poor Keith never kept in touch after his 2 posts 3 years ago.
