    Hi,

I'm working on my Street Rod to customise it heaps and I found these amazing shocks:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Burly-Brand-Stiletto-Shocks-15in-Black-Red-B28-1250-HARLEY-DAVIDSON-/362071278046?epid=182493695&hash=item544d2141de:g:H0UAAOSwEY9ZkwHw

However they are 15inch instead of 14. The rest seems it will fit (clearance, hole sizes etc). I assume it will lift the rear of the bike by about an inch. Is this doable? Did anyone attempt something similar?
(I meant shocks in the title btw)

    Regards

Those shocks say they are for Sportsters not Street Rods.  I suggest you find some shocks that will fit a Street Rod.  I doubt whether those would fit.  Going to 15" instead of 14" is no problem.

Higher rear end will make it steer a bit quicker. I have done it on a couple of Electra Glides with no probs

    Edit the title.
Give Geoff at Ikon suspension Albury a call. Explain what you want. He will custom make what you want. I put Ikon on my sporty when i had it  I had geoff make them 1.5cm longer. They have progresive rated spring.

Update - the new Street Rod cannot accommodate 15" shockies. The swing arm does not extend beyond 14" so I had to resort to Legend 14s.
Thanks for all the answers! :)
