M8 Cams why so different to Twin Cams

    $1100 Supplied and Fitted, didn't get a breakdown

    Yea the kunts quoted me under $1100 , then it blew out to $1272 for some funked up reason , I said I'd throw in the canned Stage 2 tune  it dropped to $1222 and they said THEY would have to do some Auto Tune runs so I told them to get funked. The stoopid thing was I told them I had a guy who would help me do the Auto tune runs ,they are money grabbing kunts. 
    I'll wait for a RS 468 after warranty expires , load the tune myself , fit the cam myself and Auto tune it with my mate and it'll cost me about $800 less.. 
    There's a swag of SE 447 cams for sale with really low mileage on the US HD site ,might see my local HD if i can get warranty on the bike if I use one they inspect and pass ????
    Seriously funk HD techs.

    Just wondering if the M8 4v, have rocker adjustment like the old Fueling 4v had?

    Thank's Speedster look's like the go, for accurate valve train.
    I remember a Comp ( PCB ) bike Harley that ran the top bike style 4 valve heads , I watched him adjust them few times.

    Maybe I’m misreading the picture but why is there only one point of adjustment for two valves?

    Er still don’t get it unless we have to assume that Harley production tolerances are exact for both sides. They don’t get crank run outs right etc so is there some evidence that the M8 valve running kit is spot on?
    Mind you, I guess where not talking high performance engines here.

    The valve closest the push rod will seat first , then set the other to spec from there.

    I'd give up the warranty for performance like that.

    you can just leave them as is, would not matter, but mass production, can't expect perfect. like there is more to it than just the rocker's. also if they came stock, I could imagine service charge's going up.

    Hey R2D2 Just got mine back and the total damage for the SE447 cam install including the first service was $1350.95 so I think I got a good deal. Goes in Monday for the Dyno @$370. First impression with the canned map are it pulls a lot harder now. While it was in the shop I rode my Stage 3 Sporty for the first time since getting the new bike, man what a different ride, still fun though.

    What tuner did you use and notice the base tune was not far off the money.

    What is the smoothing number in the top right corner ?
    Have you got an AFR graph with that ?

    You offering to swap pipes...lol.  Na I like the Freedom pipes and now with the cams sounds and feels like a real Harley.
    Tuner is a SE pro.
    Base map was good but kept throwing codes, lean front and lean rear, and when it threw them at the same time fucking thing goes into limp mode, which scared the fuck out of me as you have NO acceleration at all.  Luck I was in a 60 zone would hate to be in the right lane of a freeway at 100.
