Thanks for the kind words, blokes.
Ken, yes that's the one from up your way haha

Gnoo unfortunately I'm unlikely to be making it to Moama this year. Hope you have a good one there along with everyone else.

Chriso you are very observant mate. The bike had its bars like that in its ad photos and also when it turned up in the truck. It appears that handlebars have been deliberately pushed up thru the risers for some more height and it looks a bit odd. Since taking the photo, I have rolled the bars downward thru the risers like normal.

I bought the bike with the 117 upgrade already done so I can avoid spending money on upgrades like I have in the past which usually costs more. Seems to go pretty good the way it is.

Will need to change a few things. First will be seat and handlebars/risers as the reach forward is quite awkward. Will also need forward controls as I'm too bunched up with the forward mids. And some saddle bags for trips.

Trying to find the right thickness, height and pullback risers isn't as easy as I thought it'd be. Gonna hold off on this until after getting a new seat and seating position sorted as that dictates your reach.

Hope you enjoy it mate but I think it may be too small for you on the longer rides, great around
    town.

G'day mick my new bike is being stored with a mate in melb and I just returned home from melb yday. Not gonna be riding it much but my mate will be taking it for a good ride a couple of times a month. Most of my riding is around town with a few trips each year. I know that's when I'll feel the difference. I moss the Roadglide. You got the fairing lowers on?

If your looking for FXDL bags you can't go past the Retro Leather Pros, fully detachable with all mounting hardware supplied. Get in touch with Garry from Leather Pros he will look after you. Other option is Connelly's bags, they aren't as detachable and can swing around a bit plus their service is non existent.

Just saw this thread, I thought you were going bikeless for a while.
Good drills mate and a nice keeper there. Hipsters will wanna fist bump ya, chicks will be dropping their pants and terrorists will refuse to leave their caves.
Only concern is, you've left it with a mate in Melb and not me in QLD!
    Hope you're keeping well.
