    That looks bloody tidy!
Do you sell the Stainless Hemi Joints as a separate item?  My OEM ones are getting a little on the loose side.

FYI:  Quickshifter on the Sporty still going awesome...I'm now comfortable doing 1st to 2nd WOT and Casual shifts and would be lost without it.

    Cheers mate!
I do in fact have all the gear for shift linkages. I have the ends in Stainless or Chrome.
$50. For the pair, delivery included mate. Let me know which ones you want.
My preference is of course the stainless ??

Hey Tussuck, have you been experimenting with cut out times for different RPMS? I'm still trying to get 1st to second, there is so much torque at that change that it's tricky to get right.
That shift rod looks like mine :)

Grease Monkey, I run mine around 65-70ms in most rpms.
How smooth it goes depends a lot on throttle input vs bike surface speed.

Part throttle shifts at lower rpms go pretty smooth, just short shift the hell out of it. I think this allows the shift to take place before too much torque comes on.

Then at higher speeds you can afford to have the throttle wide open, as the surface speed of the bike will carry the torque and make the transition smoother....if that makes any sense at all :)

For me, the more aggressive I ride, the smoother the shifts go and feel.

If I am in chill mode then the 1st to 2nd shift is a short shift before the engine builds torque and is pretty smooth.  If I'm in race mode then I'll just nail the throttle WOT off the line and hold it there as I work up through the gears (oddly enough 1st to 2nd in race mode is bloody smooth).  You just have to have the confidence to hold the throttle and then give the gear shifter a firm confidant shift upwards and all is good.
Either way that's the last time I'll touch the clutch lever until the next set of lights as even downshifts from 5th => 4th and 4th => 3rd are just a tap down on the shift lever and the odd throttle blip for effect.

Are you talking about using expert mode in the Cut-off times?  I had a look and its too detailed for what I need (day to day vs. racing) so I run adaptive auto @ 85ms (just changed it to 95 to see if it makes a difference).  I have the sensor threshold at 80% and cut-off delay at 20ms (default is 15ms)

There is a grin factor Steelo.
Thanks Tussuck, yep I was referring to expert mode, played around with it some more this arvo, I'm not changing as quick as Mike that's for sure, rechecked the sensitivity, it had dropped to 96-100, got it back to 100 always, lengthened the cut out time in stages, so in the lower RPMS I'm at 95, then 85 for the rest, it's sorted 1st to 2nd, now that's golden, it's all about the set up aye, lowered my gear lever a bit so it's easier to flick it up.
I upped the delay to 20 when I got home as well, reason is I reckon I'm touching the lever before my brain tells the foot to shift for real, will see what effect that has next time I get a chance to ride. Just keeps getting better the more it's dialled in, had my boy on the back on the way home, he got off and says wtf gives on the back road? Was only 1/4-1/3 throttle and fed it gears.

Well, look what you've done now.
After all the excitement & glowing reviews you blokes have shown - I just had to have one of these quickshifters!
Ordered through Mike yesterday (a pleasure to deal with), it's on its way.

DAYUM Grease Monkey!!  That shift light is the effin BOMB!!

You boyz are quickly getting the hang of dialling these in :)

Each bike is slightly different, and each rider style is slightly different as well.

The best part is being able to quickly make a small change on your phone and get right back into it!

Tussuck didn't explain......his SS capsule actually kills the ignition on UP and DOWN shifts :)

It's a little bit different, and you still have to be ON the throttle to make a downshift, but like he said...a quick blip gets 'em down :)

And - another one, anything to play with on a motorcycle.
Hey Mike, meant to let you know, mine arrived yesterday, a day earlier than was expected- great.. that Mrs Bal didn't see it, as fitted into leterbox beautifully. Phew.
    Nah all cool.
Looking forward to playing, as am an aggressive rider at the moment, so evidently, with revs should work well with me.
    Nah all cool.
Fitting over next coupla days., just gotta figure out ummm, 'spect a call.
    thanks mate.

I mounted my module under my headlight visor as I run Wideband O2 which takes up all my space under the tank.  Here is a Picture of how I mounted the control module.

Received my components couple of days ago, been playing around on the bench with the sensor, module with the phone app - all looks like good gear. Great how you can save/load different setups within the app.
Gotta make time one of these weekends to install the gear on bike.

    fitted mine Sat
a quick 15 minute ride noticed 1st -2nd was a little jerky, and slight gearbox noise ( about 2500-3500 )
    2nd-3rd, 3rd-4th, 4th-5th ( 2500-3500 ) seem ok
    all with default settings.
    just about to try sensor threshold 50 %, cut-off delay 15 m/s, first 3 rpm ranges all 85ms, next 6 rpm ranges 90 m/s
simple to fit up, and so far very enjoyable.
it'll take time to sort out.
Oh, it's fitted to my Springer, 132 HP 122 TQ, 110 B motor
Any hints/info regarding set-up would be great.
thanks Mike ( great to deal with )
