Just got back from a 3 week ride through the Himalayas . Was with Indian guides to the highest motorable rd in the world to about 6500 meters Riding old Royal Enfield Bullet 500
AMAZING scenery around every bend , some of the roughest roads i've ever ridden if you could call some of them roads , massive drop offs and over hangs .
Spent an hour helping to dig one poor bugger out from under a rock fall that pancaked his car . All in all another world really , came back pretty chilled and i certainly dont sweat the things on our roads that i used to, after riding there a few weeks . one of the lads I was with  packed about 10 hours a day riding for 3 weeks into this 10 minute video ,,worth a look as he did a good job of it !! Met some characters and lovely people up high ( not like the ones we get here ) ,, will try load up a few pics
Maybe try a few more when i work out how to stop putting them sideways lol

Cool video, life long memories captured on film. Some parts of the road remind me of the Bruce Highway.  LOL

    Brilliant video!
A mate of mine did it a few years back, I'd love to but I couldn't take the altitude now.

    Amazing video and brilliant pics.
Note: when you upload pics that are sideways you can fix them by going to your gallery after you post and clicking the "Edit" button.  From there you can rotate your images.  This will also fix the rotation in your post.

Mate thank you. That was fukn sensational. Did you go with Himalayan Heroes? I’ve been researching the same ride and trying to convince some mate. Reckon your video will get them well over the line ... don’t die wondering! Looks brilliant.
If it was a different group do you mind sharing who they are?

    Cheers

Gaah!! Brought back memories. Our local Enfield club (Eastern Bulls) used to (still does) a Leh trip every year. I've been there close to 5 times now, and every time it was a fresh and different experience. Thanks for posting :)
Royal Enfields (the new ones specially with the AVL engines) are pretty reliable.
