I just had these fitted and first impression is they are are big improvement over the Harley shocks. They are made in the UK and the build quality is very good. These cost around $1K and if anyone is interested I can put up the details of where I purchased them locally on the Gold Coast. I went with the 13" ones and with an inch of sag the bike sits at the same height.

Yeah they are length adjustable but unfortunately my legs aren't haha. I'm only 5'8 so I need to keep the height down. The front got the Racetech treatment and it's much better as well.

As above Steve , would be keen to have a chat with the shocky guy .
Excuse my ignorance but are the 2 locking rings for preload set up or do these shocks have a preload adjuster on left side shock like factory ones .

Yeah as China said preload both shocks.
The company's name is Ride Dynamics  and it is owned and operated by Joe,  his number is 0433571482. Tell him Steve with the Street Glide gave you his number.

Steve, did Joe at Ride Dynamics install your RaceTech front kit or was it the RaceTech importer (Terry Hay)?
    Cheers.

Gidday Steve ... Was wondering if you had any feedback , good or bad on the new suspension ... Keen to hear if it was worth doing money wise , or would you have gone down a different path if you had your time over .
Just did over a couple of Thousand K's to Harley Days and back and while the suspension worked just Ok , we did have it Maxed out and the main saving grace of the trip was the Fantastic Sundowner Touring seat we purchased before we left ... So seriously considering an suspension upgrade ... Cheers .

Hi mate sorry for the late reply, I am happy with them and they are much more compliant than the HD ones. I know what you mean about the seat helping as I also have a sundowner which is great, but bulky. My main seat I use though is a dual Le Pera which could do with a refoam.
I would recommend you give Joe a call and have a chat with him. The front forks also need attention as HD make them too soft and the rear shocks too hard. At least with new suspension it's adjustable.

Thanks for the feedback Steve ... Like yourself I don't run the Sundowner unless we are doing a very big day ride or week ender ... Standard seat is fine for me but crap for the Missus ... Weird why they thought a seat that curves in while slanting downwards at the rear would ever be comfortable , especially if you didn't have a backrest ... My usual seat is the Low and Wide Harley seat with matching pilion seat ... Cosmetically heaps better and good for 3 to 4 hundred K's before the lower back on this old body starts to say enough is enough , Lol .
Know what you mean about the Front Forks , way to soft ... Will call Joe and discuss both ends ... Was googling his address , does he work out of a suburban house or does he have a proper work shop ... Maybe I put wrong address in ... Appreciate the assistance ... Cheers .
