After purchasing 4 brand new harleys and 1 brand new Ducati Panigale 1299 from my local Harley dealer in Perth since 2013 - they left me in the mud to drown and die after my engine blew up only 4 weeks of upgrading my 2017 Breakout to stage 5 - apparently my quiet baffles blew up my engine and even fucking Harley didn't give a rat's ass about me even though I'm their hardcore loyal fan and customer. 

Surely anything the quiet baffles do causes less back pressure or potential problems than those fucked up stock pipes they come with anyway? 

I think, in your situation, I too would  have been more interested in living well than arguing with the a-holes.  Good luck mate.

All a learning curve to say the least, always worth the trip up the hill for some real service.

If the dealer done the work THERE LIABLE ,, 12 months to live , sorry to hear , I can understand not wanting to get into a shit fight , but  a quick trip to the obudsman ,  a formal letter of complaint to the consumer watchdog , followed by  a   personaly delivered    summons to appear in a civil court case , might do the job , and won't take too much time ..  These stealers can be good at refuting claims , but one told me once , your bike needs a   this that and the other to run correct , plus an exhaust , i answerd thats modifying the bike ,  i modify a new bike   i'm breaking   the warranty , so fix the thing  without them , basicly it was running shit  and they wanted me to spend to get it running proper , End result was they said   they will do some of it  if i  pay for some of it , regards warranty , they admitted once i change things   Harley can  say there not gonna honor the warranty , but has a dealer they would be bound to honor what they done ...  they push what they sell ,, so if they install it they have to honor it .

The dealer installed the stage 5 a few months after i picked up the new bike .... 4 weeks later my bike blew up so they say (they blamed it on vance and hines quiet baffles) ... they forced me to coff up $3000 to pick up my bike with fixed stage 5 ... they didn't give me the parts they supposedly replaced they told me the service guy looking after me was off sick and they couldn't find the parts that was replaced.

Prior to this saga - they gave me an ok no damage no fault engine report when they removed my quiet baffles for me ..

I put quiet baffles in my bike. They key is get a proper dyno tune done . Brian atbeastern big twim done my bike and it runs great .

Those damn quiet baffles have a lot to answer for. Blowing up a stage 5 engine that was going to tour Aust.

currently going through a similar thing with central coast Harley in NSW want 2700 to fix its a joke. and Harley Australia just don't answer calls and don't reply to numerous emails.

I have a 2016 fxfd fat bob 12 months old with 15000km. at 14000km I had the 110 stage 3 kit installed which has 12months warranty, after breaking bike in per the technicians instructions I had the service done after 1000kms. at this stage there was no oil loss before the service. The following 3 rides a ticking noise was coming from the engine after the 3rd ride it was a lot louder I checked the oil level to find there was no oil on the dipstick, at this stage I called central coast Harley they came and picked the bike up. a week later they said they topped the oil up and rode the bike all good to go. I insisted it be looked in to for damage. after insisting I was told the crank is not true most likely out from factory and will be covered under warranty but the new stage kit has a scor in the cylinder and they are saying due to bike abuse and I lost 1 litre of oil in 3 rides due to this score, Central coast Harley are saying rider I abuse where I believe it was not filled correctly at service and that's why it has scored the cylinder. currently going through fair trading for advice.
