Has anyone bought or seen these Viking bags? I'm doing a West to East ride next year and I'm chasing some reasonable saddlebags and don't want to pay $1000 for OEM bags.

I was looking at them last year — they get a good write up on US forums, for the price you pay. One of the hot tips was the attaching/detaching system provided by Viking wasn’t the best available so worth seeing what else is out there.
Myself, I ended up going with two Deemed bags. They went well (especially with the back rest on my Mustang seat), and I preferred the look.

Google Fin moto.  Or Austsales. 0405247408
They are in Gosford nsw. I have a set of quick release lockable leather panniers. Have had for over 6 years now. Done over 46000km. Still like new.

I have had mine for four years and they still clean up like brand new.
No fraying or anything. But I did replace the brackets that came with them.

The original brackets did not hold the bags far enough away from the bike and it bottomed out on the chain guard when I hit a bad bump.

I got universal saddlebag brackets from AMX.

    No sagging, nothing.

Hey there. I have a set of these which I mounted on my Kentucky drive clips. Wasn't what I wanted so will sell the bags cheap. Say $120? PM me for my number and we'll talk. Daffy
