  Becoming a great tool in the mining now, recently had a fire in a inhospitable area from lighting strike, drone was able to help with the photos and how to contain it, survey team also use the regularly. Interesting footage.

  Cheaper to drill a peep hole in the fence ?

  I have a QR X350Pro
  only a small drone but fun to fly
  
  was going to do a fly over for my local golf club, then with a little more flight time/experience, do a induction video for work

  I have a DJI Mavic and a Syma X8G. The syma was my first and if youre keen on getting into it, i highly recommened one. Cheap enough to dispose of but nimble enough to have fun with. 

  I feel like a perv flying mine around the neighborhood but still do it!

  They need to make a *follow me drone* that can hook along at 100kph for some awesome ride footage

  Mate had the Mavic and I was really impressed. However when I started having a look on the internet about them with a view to purchase, I saw some poor reviews about erratic behaviour, crashes and poor quality. One wag even suggested DJI was short for "drone just impacted"

  I got a DJI Phantom 3 pro... some of the footage gives things a whole new perspective.

  Nearly lost it a few times near power lines where signal interference was a problem..

  All good though.. I got it to come back.

  Any one else notice how much crap  your drone gets covered in after about 30 mins flying , looks like bug guts all over it??

  Few blokes here in alice have developed an app for the town council, they fly a drone over community rubbish tips and report back the info

  Thanks for the thread Assholes, went and bought a $50 inside drone yesterday as it was raining here. My Kelpie hates it and growls whilst 

  chasing it around the lounge room. I've hit the ceiling, tv, light and had it disappear under the entertainment cabinet (awesome luck rather than flying skills)!
