There are multiple ways to go depending on your budget.
My choice would be S&S 110 kit, Cams, headwork and a real tune.
Likely to be around the $4-5k mark.

If you have lots of cash, an S&S crate motor for some big, dumb power, or worked over for serious power ~ $10-12k.

Taking your 103 out to 107 or 110 is a change to your cylinders and pistons. Going bigger than that requires splitting the engine case. So going to 110 is cheaper and easier.
With the right combination and headwork you'd get plenty of grunt from a 110.

If you saw yourself potentially getting bored with that, may as well spend the big dollars from the get go and get the S&s 124 crate engine which has warranty.

what's your budget. A high comp 107/110 is pretty tough thing to beat.

you are talking cubic dollars when you go 124 S&S but it's one hell of an engine.

That's a healthy budget. Will get you a T124 installed.
looking at around 130hp/140ft lb depending on a few factors.

Issue is, when you get to that sort of power and more importantly torque it starts killing other components. Belts, clutches and gearboxes start letting go.

Remember having 130hp is great, having the brakes and suspension to use it is even better.

Why not just turbo the 103?  Properly done it would waste a 124 engine any day of the week!

speak to Darkside customs in Sydney .. they have a procharger kit for 11k installed and tuned.. numbers around the 120-130 mark...

I just purchased a 120r donk on the cheap but I would be looking at the same numbers as those above....

go charger be different.. I might even change my mind and go charger yet..
