Wonder if the Kia Stinger and/or new Camry v6 will get a crack at the tender. Cheaper than a Volvo...

Hi Ric. Not trying to get my post count up. (well maybe..) I read they might have canned that idea due to the low safety rating and overheating

Buy em those little electrical smart cars. LOL.

But no revving the Harleys next to them, they'll get blown off the road.

As there seems to be a "no chase" policy because of the do gooders they could do it in a golf buggy.

I spotted an unmarked mid 90s Jeep Cherokee a few weeks back, had the slimline roof mounted lights fitted that looked just like roofracks until I got up close. Now that's sneaky!

good economy and torque, if thats what they will look like will spot them a mile away coming at you, the nsw cop chasers you can't spot them they don't have visible taxi roof rack like this.
will be interesting to see if reliable and what they sell for after with no air conditioning or power steering.

And speaking of Police tactics re-car chasing, in Victoria there be a new method of thought.
It is the "Box method" (Get ya dirty mind outta there!) What they do, as I saw process happen a few weeks ago, is tail the offending vehicle, and have another vehicle on the inside, outside, and ahead, to box alleged offender in to slow him to stop.(Damaged Police vehicles for auction is better than trail of dead peoples.)
T"was interesting to see in action by coincidence, on Nepean Highway Victoria 2 weeks ago.

Years ago, our SA police cars had the radios removed. Cops weren't allowed to have private transistor radios in the car. They had to drive with their hats on. If it wasn't raining, they had to drive with the windows open. They used to dream of having air conditioners. Toughened em up I say.

the cops down here are on a huge HIGH atm.. I know of 8 blokes getting defected in the last 3 weeks...

bars / exhaust / mirrors / lights and reflectors seem to be the main target....

Here is SA they drive the cars till the wheels fall off.
The cars are being kept till 90,000 km then being almost given away.

Aparently have no idea what they are going to change to.

My vote would be a mustang convertible, would look hot as fuck.
