Hey guys, anyone have issues on new parts from their dealer? I ordered new pipes which would normally take 2 days has taken over a week, and still not here, was the order stuffed up ...maybe but my dealer tells me they are ordered and coming. I have just noticed the dealer doesn’t stack anything it’s all got to be ordered. Now I know when you go to buy something for your bike you want it now , within reason but if we have to wait I might as well order it myself on line. Anyone having these issues?

Might find the Christmas rush has something to do with it. Lots of letters and parcels floating around this time of the year. Deliveries take longer.
    Soft...

I'm finding Aus Post totally fucked.  Over the last few months items (even tracked), that would normally take two days are taking up to 2 weeks.   I'm wondering wtf they've done to their service because something doesn't seem right.

    How things have changed!
Worked for Motorcycle shop in 1972, as a spare parts Invoice clerk. God I did love that job, but too young to stay still and take scope.
My job was to write in one of the many ledgers, which part was required for bike, model etc,  example:Triumph, BSA, Greeves, Honda's and some I prob can"t remember. Used to walk the motorcycle shops at lunchtime and found and going to buy a Rocket 3 Blue for $850, all set.
Then, went back to work and looked up Rocket 3 parts, ..we had some valves, and that was the bloody sum total. I bought an XS1-650, as parts, not needed and readily available. The BSA parts were a 6 week wait, when your young, life is very short..Bugga, wished I had that Rocket 3 now, as Yam's were disposable, as the Japanese taught us.
Aussie post is another story, remember, couriers are contracted out now and the pricks that run them work on a shoestring to maximise profits, so the Aussie Post CEO Prick gets the max dividend! Give me the 6 week wait and I'll go back there. Like ya story croppie, was briefly there to..
