Fuk what a year I've had, got the big C in feb and it's bad had 13 chemo sessions last one for the year tomorrow then 5 wks off thank fuk. 

I've had to downsize from my fat bob to a nightster after losing 28kg 98-70.

Fuk man the stock seat and shocks are rock hard I've ordered 412 12.5 std shocks hopping that gives me something in the back I know I'm going to lose it's looks?

My question is gents whats a decent aftermarket seat the sundowner looks like shit I'm 6.2 so don't like anything to chunky preferably 2 up I got two little rev heads 8-11 who like to come out

I don't ride 2 up on the sporty, so the solo does the job for now. 

I think some of the Harley dealerships you can rent a seat out for a day or something. Give some of the seats a try and decide.

Hope the shock change helps. I got a used 1200 rigid mounted motor for a performance project, it's 14 years old good Nic . All stock shocks seat just se slip on's and air cleaner. Road this bike from Cairns to NSW 6 months back, have ridden it 10,000k since then to check it out before rebuilding motor & custom rebuilt forks n custom build shocks want Terry Hayes out of Sydney to do forks n shocks stock hight. Think is I have owned enough Harley's big twin & sportster over the years the stock two up seat on this bike seemed OK. I was in the saddle all day every day till I got home from cairns. But I know everyone different. N sporty would not be the easiest model to get comfort seat but the one came on mine a stock for the model double and as good  as the dyna I had. Hope you find one if not look for someone who knows how to build or custom a bike seat that you can deal directly with. I would say that would be your best bet. Talk to them first some might only talk looks. You want one that talks comfort!!

Would the 883 2016 iron seat fit my 08 nightster?  I've sat on them and felt ok?

Also there is a guy who does excellent seats in goulburne nsw but herd there's s long wait he gets busy. Yeah can't wait to get some miles under me to bro I'm hanging out big time.
