    Hi Gents,
Has anyone here purchased 2018 street bob?
I've test ridden it and in this moment in time, I am happy to sign the paper. but just before I do, Would you care to share whats it like to live with and the experience of owning one? are you thrilled like a little kid or having a second thought??
Seen reviews online and most seem to love the bike - Excellent handling, bobbed out styling but mid control make you feel cramped with smaller tank size- seems to be the typical reviews through out, but again would love to hear real life first hand story.

    Thanks in advance.

Test road 1 when i was looking for a bike for my wife. Neither of us was a fan of the riding position, the mid controls and apes just felt wrong for both of us. Every one is differnt and some love the position, my advice is hit up the dealer to let you take it for a long decent ride and see what you think. In the end my wife ended up getting a 18 Fat bob

My 2c is I love it! Got about 1400ks on it so far and nothing but happy.
Stock standard so far, want to keep it that way for a while (though Stage1 is on the cards when I can!)
The mid controls are a bit odd, but I used to ride a Dyna low with fwd controls so took some getting used to. The mini apes are actually really nice to ride with... Pulled mine back a few cm and makes a heap of difference (though both controls and bars are really dependant on body shape... I am 6' so suits me, but my wife can't reach anything!)
Back brake is a bit lame, but you get used to it. Tank.... I would probably go a bigger one one day, but okay, fuel economy is good.
Tyres... Not impressed. Compared to the Dyna this thing really gets stuck in every ridge and groove and if they are not warm they don't feel sticky at all... Will see if they settle, otherwise will be shopping for something a big better!
Mine gets to do 100km fun rides on sunny weekend and commutes down the m3 to the CBD a couple of days a week, so pretty varied usage...
