Okay, I went for a ride to a market and when I was trying to leave it cranked over and died.

maybe loose battery connection/earth point,or the battery dropped a cell and died.lots of maybe's but you gotta start somewhere.cheers.

This happened to me with a 2009 model FatBob, it was the ""System Relay". left hand side directly below the seat is a cover I could pull off. There is a couple of small black box looking things with spade terminals, don't remember which one, relay cost AUD$16-00. Does your ride have a "System Relay"?

Did the fuses you checked include the "main" fuse?

and as said, neg. terminal. (not uncommon on soft tails )
