For Those Interested in 2018 Fatboy Exhaust Systems....

    I have bad news:
    After enquiring with Vance & Hines via Facebook, it seems that they will NOT be producing any FULL systems, in the satin chrome finish, for the 2018 Fatboy - That finish will be limited only to slip-ons.

    Here is my brief conversation (The V&H rep's reply is in bold):

    Hi from Australia...Quick question: Does V&H have any plans to release a full system for the 2018 HD Fatboy, in the same satin chrome finish as the Eliminator 300 slip-ons? Something along the lines of the short shots or the big radius designs?

    Good Morning- All full systems will have either a chrome or ceramic matte black finish. Unfortunately we will only be releasing the Satin finish for slip-ons.

    May I ask, is there a particular reason for this decision? Does it have to do with the way HD have designed the exhaust system for the 2018 Fatboy?

    Just a decision that was made on what we believe the market will call for.

    So it seems that we 2018 Fatboy owners are either stuck with slip-ons, or have to wait for a competitor to do something creative.

    I wonder why this is the case, though? Is it just because the satin chrome finish is too costly to produce?

    It can't be because of the 'unique' Fatboy exhaust structure, because V&H have already released a chrome version of the shortshot staggered and Big radius 2-2 for the 2018 Fatboy....There has to be another reason....

    ...Maybe they just think the 2018 Fatboy won't sell enough to warrant investment in a full system in satin chrome?
